Dartalis was active in Luxembourg from 2001 to 2007 as Secaron, a subsidiary of Secaron AG in Munich, Germany. After a management buyout, the company has been renamed dartalis as of 17 April 2008.

Today dartalis is a 100% privately held luxembourgish company. Under the new name the team of dartalis will continue to serve its customers with the same values and excellence in Information Security as it did since the very beginning of its activities.
